RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NTT NURSE

Nurses Touch Therapy Maternity Massage T

  • Promptness and punctuality

  • Adhere to the NTT dress code

  • Wash hands before and after treatment

  • Obtain blood pressure before and after treatment, if indicated

  • Encourage conversation of the patient’s questions and concerns

  • Assess skin condition or any physical abnormalities that need to be reported to the patient's primary nurse.

  • Assess patients emotional well being

  • Position patient in a comfortable and safe manner

  • Administer therapy to the arms, hands, legs, feet, back and neck or whatever is best for the patient after a physical nursing assessment is made.

  • Appropriately use music, massage lotions and oils
